"This is Swiss so the suits are acorns, orb-like bells, flowers and shields. (German suits are leaves, hearts, bells and acorns) The figures are kings (Konig), Overs (knights), Unters (unders, or citizens/freemen), and flags which may have served as joker. Carved in the 17th or 18th century. Extraordinary in subject, style, depth and clarity.
