Connie's Baking Notes: I baked one test Snowman cookie at 295 degrees F for 14 minutes. The cookie had cracks, but was fully baked. I let them dry another 8 hours, then baked at 290 degrees F for 16 minutes, taking them out halfway through to press doen flat areas with my finger. (Close the oven door so the oven stays hot!) The lesson here is that larger cookies can easily use additional drying time.
